If Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan would have been alive today then the story of teachers could have been different. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born on 5th of September 1888. He became the second president of India. In his honor this date is celebrated as Teacher’s Day since 1962. Dr. Radhakrishnan believed that in our country the best minds should chose teaching as a profession. Country needs dedicated teachers to move ahead in future.  The title of this article is Black Day and being a teacher I am celebrating teachers Day of 2020 as a Black day. It is not only the matter of states likes Bihar but it is a matter of serious concern for the whole country. Can you believe? Can you imagine that teachers are beaten black and blue by the government? Either primary or secondary, senior secondary or college teachers all are equally beaten by the cops. They were beaten because they were asking for salaries. They were asking for their job securities. On 03/09/2020 contractual college teachers or better it would be to say Atithi Shikchak were beaten brutally by cops in Patna. They were just asking to meet the Chief Minister because they wanted to ask for their job securities. Those cops who once were taught by teachers were beating teachers like criminals. This is modern India and here criminals and illiterates are chairing the ministries and teachers are being beaten. Sorry to say but it will break the harmony of the nation. Politicians are getting pensions and other benefits but workers are denied even their daily wages. School Teachers have been gifted the benefits of EPF and Seva Shart by Nitish Government but it is merely an eye wash. Now the time has come to prove that teachers are not workers but equal to the creator himself. We have forgotten the dictates of our early childhood- “Guru Govind Dou Khare…Kaake Laggu Paae.” We are the responsible citizens of India and we should replace the existing government which believe that teachers are a subject to cheat. We can break our self respect but we cannot compromise with nationalism. People who are challenging the roles of a teacher are traitors. They should be eliminated because they are attacking the education system of our country. In the age of Internet nobody can cheat any one and if they think that they have the right to do so then they are mistaken. Nothing is permanent in life and we are subject to decay because we are mortal. Today on 5/09/2020 Vishwavidyalaya atithi shikshak or guest teachers are celebrating Black Day and I think all the teachers should support them. please share this article more and more so that we the Indians should realize our highest responsibility to choose a sensible government.
